3. Workshop aims
To explore opportunities for future research collaborations, synergies and partnerships
To create an overview of network activities within the funding period to enhance alignment and coordination
To support communication of network outputs by the JPIAMR.

How to follow up successful JPIAMR networks of strategic importance for building the VRI
Network funding enables JPIAMR to develop areas that the MB determines to be of high interest/need, including the development of the JPIAMR-VRI
Network funding is relatively short:
allowing uptake of results into JPIAMR planning for actions, but…
the lack of time and funding for further activities is problematic

9. Network/Network Plus Call proposal
JPIAMR Networks Plus
To support the continuation and operation of successful networks several funders propose a new funding mechanism with the following characteristics:
Separate call for JPIAMR Networks: 50,000 Euro for one year to support new activities, as per previous calls
Separate call for JPIAMR Networks Plus, 100,000 – 200,000 Euro for two years, open for funded or ongoing networks, for implementation of achieved results and further investigation of specific actions
A combination of both 1 and 2 within one area where new networks will have the possibility for the one year option, and the funded networks can apply for the two year option
