We Are Learning About…
Reading: We will focus on long o (o__e spelling pattern, ex: rope) and sight words where and look. We will reread to help us understand stories better. We will utilize all reading strategies together to help us solve tricky words. Reading Essential Question: How can things in nature be used to make new things?
Writing: We will explore adjectives (describing words) as well as writing our own recipes!
Math: We will begin GoMath Ch. 11: Measurement!
Science: We will continue Unit 3: Plants!
Social Studies: We will continue to focus on landforms, Natural Resources, and taking care of our Earth. We will also focus on showing obedience as we get closer to first grade!
