Starter An engineer has recorded a vocal track. There is audible ‘popping & blasting’ on the recording. Identify 2 possible ways to correct this recording problem.

Today’s Lesson To understand the concept of EQ and how to apply it to a range of audio tracks Success Criteria I can explain what EQ is and why we use it to improve audio tracks. I can add EQ to different instrument/vocal tracks. I have used EQ in my foley project to improve the quality of sound.

LEAD VOCAL - Use EZQ Equaliser to give a warm, bright tone. BASS - Use Acoustica EQ and add preset ‘Basic Low Boost’ DRUM KIT – use acoustica EQ to manually reduce the bass & boost cymbals GUITAR – Use EZQ equalizer to find a good sound
