Step 4c: Defining HMI

2. Steps
After performing step mentioned in document “4b-Defining a Data server.ppt”, right click on HMI and click on NEW HMI under the Topological model.
This window will appear:

3. Steps Give proper name. Click on OK Button.
A new HMI “MyHMI” will be available in the topological model

4. Steps Right click on “MyHMI” and then click on NEW CONTROL DOMIAN
This window will appear:

5. Steps Key-in proper name and description and press OK button.
A new control domain “MyCD” will be available under HMI in topological model.

6. Steps Right click on “MyHMI” and then click on OPEN PICTURE
This window will appear:

7. Steps Right click on this window and then click on NEW PICTURE GROUP.
This window will appear:

8. Steps Give proper name and click OK button.
A new picture group will be available in the “picture” window:

9. Steps
Right click on the picture group “MyPicGroup” and then click on NEW PICTURE.
This screen will appear::

10. Steps Give proper name and click on OK button
This screen will appear::

11. Steps
At the end of this step, a HMI along with Control domain, picture group and picture should be available in the topological model.
