The Robison Rockets garden is an important part of the second grade curriculum.
Each garden day your children will make exciting discoveries that reinforce classroom objectives in science, math, reading and writing. Stephanie Baker, a Certified Texas Master Gardener from Ready to Grow Gardens, engages students
through meaningful, hands-on lessons and activities that support classroom instruction.
Catch the spirit in the garden!
Volunteers are needed to help maintain the garden by watering and weeding. Scheduled garden days are a great opportunity to volunteer as Stephanie Baker or Shannon Bahr will be on-site and available to provide guidance. Additionally it’s a fun to volunteer during your child’s garden lesson! If a scheduled garden day doesn’t work with your schedule there will be additional days throughout the month to help. Car Riders & Lunch Visitors We Need You!
Does your schedule permit minutes? Watering or weeding is easy to do when dropping off your child, waiting in afternoon car rider line or even waiting to have lunch with your child. Your time is greatly appreciated!
