use my preferred language

2. Issue
I want to use UAG with Vijeo Citect in a preferred language like Russian or Chinese.

3. How to do.. In MS Windows
In MS Windows the desired language has to be selected in the language options. Note: To use characters for Baltic, Central European, Cyrillic, Greek, Turkish, and Asian languages, or right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi, and Urdu) the operating system must have the corresponding language version of Windows, or have installed system support for that language.

4. How to do.. In Vijeo Citect
In Vijeo Citect ANSI characters have to be converted to OEM charcters
Tools / Computer Setup Editor / CtEdit / ANSIToOEM = 1

5. How to do.. Take notice of:
ANSIToOEM has to be changed to “1“ before generation of HMI in UAG.
Once set this parameter should never be changed.
When the project will be copied to another PC this parameter should also be “1“.
