6 We talk about reaching goals, what is a goal?
The Dictionary says: A GOAL is the result or achievement toward which effort is directed; aim; end. BUT What does that mean? A GOAL is simply anything you try to reach, accomplish or get by working hard. Here are some examples of GOALS:

What is YOUR GOAL? YOUR individual goal. UNIQUE – A goal that is just yours, unlike anyone else’s goal. How much should YOU grow? Based on YOUR MAP scores. YOUR MAP scores tell us if YOU are ready to meet the MSP challenge!

This area of the graph shows what percent of your classmates passed the Reading test last year This area of the graph shows us how many we want to pass this year. This is the goal for all of 3rd grade, the same number as “Our Goal” on the poster.
