1. The Basics My Childhood After High School
Hi! My name is Richard Johnson. I will be teaching 7th Grade Life Science this year and I’m looking forward to working with you this year. I’ve been teaching for 13 years, eight of them at Hephzibah Middle. My work day usually ends on the football field or court.
My Childhood
I was born in St. Paul, Minnesota. I’m an only child. Growing up I enjoyed playing Nintendo, soccer, basketball, football in the snow, and riding bikes. My favorite subject in school was history.
After High School
Shortly after graduating, I decided to pursue architecture at a community college. While there I was given an opportunity to work part-time in an elementary school and I bet you can guess what happened next... Yep, I went to school to become a teacher and enrolled at the University of Minnesota.
