Traditional programs are designated by length of program and pathway type: combined cardiothoracic pathways (CCT-T2, CCT-T3), adult cardiac pathways (AC-T2, AC-T3), and general thoracic pathways (GT-T2, GT-T3). Time spent on Cardiothoracic (CT), Adult Cardiac, General Thoracic, Congenital and “Other” nonsurgical rotations were compared between pathways.
