How to answer this question.
Week 1. On a large sheet make 15 – 18 black and white studies of the suggested artists. Keep the images small. Use a variety of materials. Do close-ups. HW 1. In your sketchbook make some black and white studies of the suggested artists. Keep the images small. Fill 2 sides. Find images on the web. Add notes using your Writing About Art sheet Week 2. On a large sheet make 15 – 18 colour studies of the suggested artists. Keep the images small. Use a variety of materials. Use full copies and close-ups. HW 2. In your sketchbook make some colour studies of the suggested artists. Keep the images small. Fill 2 sides. Find images on the internet. Add notes Week 3. On a large sheet of paper make 15 – 18 studies of natural or man-made structures in black and white. Use a wide variety of materials. Homework 3. In your sketchbook fill 2 sides with small black and white studies of natural or man-made structures. Add notes. Experiment with materials. Week 4. On a large sheet of paper make studies in colour. Homework 4. In your sketchbook fill three pages with small colour studies Add notes Weeks 5 & 6. Produce a range of larger studies in colour and black and white as you develop your ideas . HW 5 & 6. Continue to develop your project with studies, sketches and notes as you plan your Main Piece. Christmas. 9 – 12 sides of further studies as you finalise what to produce in the 10 hour exam.
