16
2 Peter 1:10–11 Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; 11 for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.

2. The Bible tells us that God has predestined or predetermined the PLAN of salvation, The PERSONS of salvation, and the POWER of sanctification.
26
A. God the father purposed and predestined Jesus to be crucified = Acts 4:27–28 “For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28 to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose predestined to occur.
27
B. God predetermined and foreknew the PLAN of our SALVATION Acts 2:22–24 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Nazarene, a man attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know—
28
23 this Man, delivered over by the predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, you nailed to a cross by the hands of godless men and put Him to death. 24 “But God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power.
29
C. God predestined/predetermined – determined in advance the PERSONS of His salvation = Ephesians 1:3–5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
30
4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will,
31
D. God predestined/predetermined – determined in advance to give us the POWER of Sactification = Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son
