2 Slingshot Program The Slingshot Initiative was set forth with investments from The Governor’s Office and The State of California Workforce Development Board. (WDB and WIB) A priority goal was to provide innovation and flexibility to serve the training needs of employers

3 SlingShot In 2015 a $1 Million Dollar Grant was awarded to the Central Valley Region An additional $350k awarded in 2017 to include Mother Lode Counties Amador, Calaveras, Mariposa, Tuolumne Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board (FRWDB) as the Fiscal Agent Advanced Manufacturing as the Target Industry Heavy Equipment Machinery also in Mother Lode Counties Focusing on both Durable Manufacturing Non-Durable Manufacturing (Ag)
