He focus on unification, purity, and criticized democracy. In the end, this never game in /true/ power, until he was given authority by politicians that wanted to use his talent for their own goals. They didn't really get that.

All of the German people were looking for a strong leader and Hitler used his propaganda film to make them think that they were getting a leader that was going to work for them. He was handed power and the people did not fight against it.

Hitler was able to rise to power in Germany due to several conditions. One being Germany was in very poor conditions after WW1, Germany was in complete chaos. Because Germany was in chaos Hitler tried to get this nation back on it's feet again. He started off small through appealing the people and by being motivational and promising the rise of Germany once more. He rose to power because of his charisma and brains, and got on the good side of the chancellor.

(give at least 2 specific reasons why) Appeasement was the right policy for England in because although it wasn't necessarily what they wanted, it allowed time (6 months) for them to strengthen their military and be ready to fight when the time came. This bought them a little more time to prepare themselves.

Was appeasement the right policy for England in 1938? (give at least 2 specific reasons why) Appeasement was the right policy for England in because, although it didn't completely stop WWII from happening, it allowed a 6 month time period without war, and it gave everyone time to prepare for the war they knew they had coming. England totally avoided war by giving Hitler what he wanted for 6 months, within these 6 months, Hitler let Great Britain have their space, which is when they took their chance to start preparing to go to war with Germany and the Axis Powers.
