1. Fifth Grade Quarter Four Newsletter Writing Reading
In the fourth quarter, we will be reading a lot about the history of sports and how different people connected through sports. We will learn about racism and influences throughout history. We will also be doing various research projects on these influencers.
In the fourth quarter, we will be writing about what we read. Specifically, we will be writing informational essay’s with a major focus on using evidence properly.
Students will also be focusing on creating different projects using credible sources while taking control of their own learning along the way.
Social Studies
We are practicing our 50 states names and locations throughout the fourth quarter. Students will also be doing a research project on a specific state to learn even more information!
