First Initial WG ballot on IEEE mb D1.0 closed June 27, Results: 155/23/ % 730 comments received: 491 technical, 239 editorial Working to resolve these comments; 373 comments currently resolved, but more to be voted on later today Planning on a recirculation after the November meeting. 5 TGn High Throughput IEEE SA Standards Board on September 11 approved IEEE n for publication. Will probably be published in October. 6.01 years between PAR approval and publication approval Bruce Kraemer

6 802.11 TGp Wireless Access for the Vehicular Environment
Fourth recirculation WG ballot LB 154 on draft 8.0 closed August 5, Results: 163/20/ %. 15 unique comments received: 8 technical, 7 editorial TGp has resolved all the comments, including having some comments withdrawn, which caused a change in one letter in the draft. Draft 9.0 will go to recirculation after this meeting. Will expect to use results of next recirculation to show that conditional approval has been met. Lee Armstrong

Third recirculation WG ballot LB 155 on draft 7.0 closed August 07, Results were 176/16/ % TGv received 24 comments from LB155, 12 technical and 12 editorial, and has addressed all of them. A new revision of the TG Channel Models Addendum document was approved by the TG (09/0308r8). A new revision of the TGac Specification Framework document was presented. A motion passed to accept document 09/0992r2 as the starting point. Continue the discussion of OBSS issues as related to the task group activities. Motion passed to add Enterprise scenario with OBSS to the Functional Requirements and Evaluation Methodology document Home scenario with OBSS was presented. 18 JTC1/SC6 Ad-Hoc ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6
Chinese National Body is trying to submit WAPI for balloting to JTC1. IEEE has stated that the draft infringes IEEE copyright. The PSDO will probably not be changed. The major issue was the lack of ability to close the loop on submitted comments returned during balloting. JTC1 is in the process of renegotiating the joint working agreement with ISO, which may remove the ability to close the loop on comments for all ballots. Andrew Myles
