Let’s talk about the file type .xmt
Formal definition: an XML-based file format for storing MPEG-4 data in a way suitable for further editing For excel = Need to treat this like .txt file with delimiters Which means you need to use you import data feature called “Get Data” or “From Text/CVS” on the data tab in Excel.

What is a delimiter? A delimiter is symbol that represents a
column break. Examples: Commas, Semi-Colons “MEMBERNO","ACCOUNTNO","NAME","FIRSTNAME ","MIDDLENAME","LASTNAME",…

How do I get this into excel?
Go the Data Tab – Click “Get Data” or “From Text/CVS” Navigate to where saved the file and then say open. If you do not the “.xmt” make sure change the looking for .txt to all files. Correct

What can I do with this data once it’s in Excel?
The Real question what can’t you do? You can pretty much do anything depending on the type of data you pulling. For example if doing delinquents data: You can filter data, mail merge, calculations, pivot table
