Leonardo Da Vinci

Leonardo Da Vinci ( ) was born in a farmhouse in the village of Anchiano, in present-day Italy. He worked as an architect, artist, mathematician and scientist. He also worked as a military engineer and was a good musician. In 1952, he moved to Milan and started to work for the Duke of Milan. He designed many buildingd for the Duke but never buit one. He also studied mathematics. His drawing of the Anatomy of a Man showed him to be a great biologist. In 1502, he returned to Florence and painted Mona Lisa. From 1514 to 1516, he lived in Rome and continued his scientific experiments. He died in France in 1519. Leonardo Da Vinci was writing from left to right. You need a mirror to read his handwting. He invented sissors and created a silver lyre and brought it as a peace gesture to Ludovico Sforza. He made models and in his notebooks there were plans for tanks, a helicopter and a submarine. Perhaps his most well-known “invention” is a “flying machine,” which is based on the physiology of a bat.
