2. Debts and Accounting Details
All DCPS Gross Pay Files are stored in ODS
Cleveland Disbursing verify that files received. Recon completed in Civilian Pay certification and balancing
Debts are reported on the Accounts Receivable file if the Master Employee Record (MER) has an active status in DCPS and as long as the Debt Record does not have stop IDC of ‘I’ (invalid), ‘P’(paid) or ‘U’ (uncollectable)
DCPS does not require LOAs for X debts in the Debt Module
DCPS does not validate the LOAs received from 2481s
Q Debts DCPS verifies accounting elements against the DCPS Accounting Validation Table

Interface Changes (for example GFEBS)
Only updates employee LOA’s
Defaults to current pay period effective date if changes are processed before Wednesday after pay date. This was changed in GFEBS to allow any effective date . Retro Processing will only occur if a personnel action or time card change is processed back to a past effective date
