It is essential to have a focused collection plan based on force and local intelligence requirements. These collection plans will be set by the Tasking and Co-ordination Group Meeting
As previously stated, this group meets regularly in order to set priorities for enforcement action, intelligence collection and preventative tasking
Information obtained by individual officers will be analysed and fed back into the T&CG meting
Collection
The collection of intelligence must be done with due regard to legislation such as ECHR i.e. legality, proportionality,necessity etc
Standard grounds must be established i.e. likely to be of value in the interests of Prevention or detection of crime and disorder or the maintenance of community safety
