3. Holy Spirit Guidance Come Holy Spirit,
fill the hearts of your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of your love.
Send forth your Spirit O Lord,

9. Lord and giver of all life,
help us to value each person,
created in love by you. In your mercy,
guide and assist our efforts
to promote the dignity and value
of all human life,
born and unborn.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

10. Prayer for the Common Good
R/: God, help us work for the common good of all.
We pray for the grace to work for and with the poor and to learn from those who are poor and in need,
We pray for an end to the war and violence in all the troubled parts of our world and for a genuine respect for human rights,
We pray for those in the poorest regions of our world, for people who do not have enough to eat or adequate shelter to live in,
We pray for a spirit of openness to the needs and concerns of all. We pray that as your church, we will do what we can to faithfully spread hope among all peoples.

11. God of all peoples,
when confronted with the injustices of our world
we often dream of a better world and
Lord, give me the courage to move beyond hopes and dreams
to work with others to make justice a reality for all peoples.
Give me an open heart and listening ears
to understand the challenges faced by the marginalised,
lacking the basic necessities for a dignified life.
Give me the resolve to work with others to make a new reality,
so that those who suffer injustice are heard
and feel the impact of when we stand with them
to face their troubles.
May I respond generously to your call
I ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus. Amen

12. God Our Father: I thank you for the beauty of the earth and all creation. Help me to hear always the calling to be a good steward of your gifts, the caretaker of all you have entrusted to us on earth. Let me always recognize, cherish and enjoy the goodness in all of creation. Teach me reverence for every person and all living things.
O God, help me to use your gifts wisely and share them generously. Whisper in my heart the reminder that I am but a temporary guardian of your abundance; I am called to pass your gifts on to the next generation.
Let all I do be a reflection of your love and care.
Amen.
