Welcome! Key Club Wednesday: September 16, 2015

What is Key Club? Key Club is an international student-led organization. We are the high school division of Kiwanis International. We volunteer and serve both on campus and off campus. We help in SCV through participating in clean-ups, volunteering at local elementary schools, fairs, etc. On Campus we have projects: UNICEF, Pennies for Patients, etc. 9/16/2015

Attendance Bring your attendance card to EVERY meeting
They will be stamped each week by our junior officers Cards will be collected at the end of the semester. Members must have 80% attendance Seniors must have attendance to receive their Key Club medallion for graduation Acknowledgment and/or prizes will be given to members of perfect attendance Members with at least 80% attendance may receive raffled off prizes at our Winter Party (the last meeting of the semester) 9/16/2015

Hour Sheets Must complete ten hours per semester
Honors Society hours can be used for Key Club hours At least four hours of service will be able to come from our Key Club Meetings Our on-campus projects count for hours When we collect canned foods, toys, boxes, etc: donated goods count as service hours Mrs. Hong or any of our officers can sign for validation of on-campus service hours. 9/16/2015

How to Become a Member Go to: sauguskeyclub.weebly.com
Go to “New Membership Application” To be a member: Fill out application Attend at least 80% of meetings Complete 10 hours of community service Turn in a due: amount TBA Fundraising helps lower the price per member Approximately $10. 9/16/2015

Next Meeting We are making dog toys out of old t-shirts for the Castaic Animal Shelter. Counts for a half hour of community service. Additionally: You will receive a half hour of community service for bringing in shirts T-shirts can be dropped off in Mrs. Hongs room (X2423) for the next week, or may be brought the day of our meeting 9/16/2015
