Child abuse leads to persecution. Abusing a child as a form of punishment for misbehaving is acceptable. Smacking a child is abuse.

4 Different forms of child abuse
Neglect Emotional Physical Sexual Peter Connelly, aged 1, died in North London after he was repeatedly seen by children's services and doctors. He suffered from many injuries including a broken back. His mother and two men were convicted over his death. In 2000, 8 year old Victoria Climbié died after months of abuse and neglect. The torture she suffered includes starvation, cigarette burns, repeated beatings with bike chains and belt buckles and hammer blows to her toes. Her aunt and aunt’s boyfriend were convicted over her death. What forms of child abuse did they suffer?
