RE-THINKING SERVICE FROM A PULSE DESIGN
Pulse systems typically operate out of the central location with vehicles meeting at fixed intervals; Routes are located and designed so that the cycle time for each route is as close to the same as practical; Pulse systems minimizes transfer time between routes; It’s possible some trips between outlying points have to go into the city center and transfer and this can lead to longer travel times; Ideally pulse systems are located at major trip generators that are destinations and provide opportunities for joint use; The Pulse system will begin to establish a multi-modal linked Saco Transportation Center
