Terminology Capped – High wealth districts who don’t receive more funding even as enrollment grows Guaranteed – Low wealth districts receive the same $$, even if enrollment drops The Line - Distinguishes areas of funding that are inside or outside the Cap/Guarantee. An imaginary line Above the Line – if Capped or Guaranteed – no more $$/ no less $$ Below the line – more $$ whether Capped or Guaranteed Talk about accurate coding and how the tuition module works. Data not reported – can’t collect excess costs.

Limited English Proficiency Categories similar to SPED Disadvantaged Special Education Categories matter Rewards for achievement Graduation Rate Literacy Rate Talk about why it’s important to get accurate data as its used by many sources. Districts are coming off the Guarantee or Cap and need to know what matters when not on that model.

Transfers OUT – CCP Sent to – student attends JVSD & Trad – neither reporting PS – deduct is split between the JVSD and Traditional Transfers OUT – OE Transfers OUT tuition - not reported correctly = can’t claim excess costs Talk about accurate coding and how the tuition module works. Data not reported – can’t collect excess costs.
