Medical Plan Renewal Moving all plan accumulations to a plan year (7/1 – 6/30) Currently our plans accumulate the deductibles and out of pocket expenses on an calendar year basis (January – December). Changing the accumulation to a plan year so everything aligns. Premiums, deductible and out of pocket all will be (July – June) Transition year, any deductible and out of pocket accumulation from January 2019 – June 2019 will be applied to the new plan year for July 2019 – June 2020. Example: You have accumulated out of pocket expenses of $300 from January to June. On July 1, HealthPartners will reset your deductible and out of pocket accumulator and then add $300 back. If you are on the Choice plan your $1,000 Out of pocket max will show $300 accumulated or that you still need to incur $700 before you have 100% coverage on all in network expenses.
