2018-19 Board Activity with the City of Shoreview
The Board logged over 15 hours with the City Council, Mayor, City Planner, Head of Maintenance, and City Engineer this past year. A relationship with the City staff, and new City Council has been created, and we hope to improve and grow it in the future as a board.

Shoreview Pond Prioritization Study
Jayme, The larger northern ponds are in the low to mid 80's and the southern ponds are in the low 100's. The City has a total of approximately 150 ponds, so definitely in the bottom half of the list. Based on the ranking would have been a while before the City would have evaluated the ponds for potential maintenance work. Am confident that the interest the Association is showing in the ponds and the willingness to partner with the City is the main reason the Council supported spending the money on the survey. They value these types of partnerships. Thank you, Tom Tom Wesolowski, P.E. | City Engineer City of Shoreview 4600 Victoria St. N. Shoreview, MN 55126 Direct Tel: Fax:

Adopt-A-Drain Reasons to adopt-a-drain:
Reduce organic matter(leaves, grass, etc.) wash down Reduce algae & weeds food (they’re fed by organic matter) Cut down on green and soupy water Improve fish and wildlife habitat (algae & weeds prevent sunlight from getting to the bottom of the water) As algae die they create dead zones Link:
