Persistence time in experimental metapopulations.
Persistence time in experimental metapopulations. The persistence times in the four metapopulation treatments: isolated (I), long (L), medium (M), and continuous (C). Replicate numbers are indicated next to circles. Open circles indicate metapopulations that were still alive at generation 15. Horizontal lines indicate treatments that do not significantly differ from each other in a multiple comparison. They correspond to the 95% Tukey honest significant differences determined from an ANOVA on logarithmically transformed persistence times.
