Conference/workshop presentation – start with a question or definition of your topic
Panel presentation – know your panel members
Organize your room prior to presentation
Use of Mic; Roam throughout your audience
Ask for a volunteer to assist with demonstration
Always be aware of your time and/or of your co presenters time
And, be prepared to respond to questions or comments that take over your presentation

Depending on your audience you may want to spend detailed time on your methodology and analysis – you will be questioned on this!
Others may be more interested in your findings. What did people answer in your research question?
What is the point? Some might be more interested in why do the research if nothing will become of it. Be clear here that your findings resulted in a more concise research question again
Be prepared to answer the “so what?” for each point you are presenting on
