Sectional Anatomy Sagittal cut: separating left and right Midsagittal: separating left and right equally Parasagittal: separating left and right unequally Transverse cut: separating superior and inferior Frontal (Coronal) cut: separating anterior and posterior Oblique cut: separating the tissue at an angle 2
