Increase participation of Key stage 5 students to continue on to HE
Sector skills sessions planned with a number of partner colleges Look at how we roll out sector skills across partners – CPD for staff. Cultural collaboration with Liverpool NCOP linked to the piece of work developed between FutureU, Blackpool and the Fylde College and the Blackpool Grand theatre. Wrap around support for students, i.e creating personal statements University visits i.e Heysham High Forensics at UCLAN Supporting HE fair at Lancaster and Morecambe College

Development of parental and teacher engagement programme
Outreach officers attending parents and careers evenings across schools. Delivered Fun Palace events in Preston and Fleetwood during October CPD sessions delivered around FutureU and sector skills Mentoring offer to include teacher CPD opportunities as well as parental engagement through celebration events.

Creation/delivery of bespoke mentoring programme
First round of recruitment for ambassadors now completed. Delivery of training weekend November for 40 ambassadors Creation of iCan resources to support ambassadors with delivery 5 Schools will receive Aspiration sessions for year 9 and 10 during Nov-Dec 8 week mentoring for NCOP students in years 9 & 10 commencing in Q5

Increase participation of key stage 3 & 4 students who are attaining but not progressing.
Offering schools/colleges support to deliver 4 week Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge Programme – 3 schools in Q4. Delivered a range of wrap around support activities such as pathway mapping, Uni life talks, mindfulness and revision techniques. Children Looked After Conference – Delivered sessions to raise young peoples awareness of opportunities, inspire them with stories of people from similar backgrounds who have gone on to achieve and equip them to take the next steps.

Activities addressing key thematic areas/ labour skills gaps in the region
Continued delivery of sector skills sessions across schools and colleges in each delivery zone. Development of coding clubs – linking to initiative through Raspberry Pi Foundation and providing sustainable resources. Supporting delivery of LEP City Deal Bridging the Gap Activity

Promote social mobility through building the knowledge economy
Supported evaluation of Blackburn Cathedral Careers Event. Supporting Blackpool Council, Blackpool and the Fylde College and Blackpool Sixth Form to plan and deliver large scale 2 day careers fair in Blackpool. Working with partners including Careers and Enterprise Team around Employer led Skills Events in Darwen and Rossendale.
