FastKids – outdoor kit must be worn
(e.g long trousers, jumper, gloves)
THURSDAY INDOOR/OUTDOOR:
(done in pumps or bare feet; outdoor games require a change into trainers.)

Homework Reminders
Given out on a Monday, to be returned by Monday. This year more of our homework will be on the new school website and should take roughly half an hour to complete. If your child struggles, please don’t worry, encourage them to have a go- the work will be discussed with the children during the week. We expect the children to read to an adult as regularly as possible. (We reward the children for reading and having their record book signed).
Maths
The methods that children learn build up over time; they begin to understand why mathematical processes are happening. Please try to encourage the children with these methods – they do work! By year 4, children should be practising all of their times-tables and related facts as regularly as possible, to the point of instant recall.
