3. Dogs’ Day Out is….
🐾 A program DCHS started in 2017 to get more exercise for the dogs 🐾 A change of scenery for our residents 🐾 A chance for dogs to be seen and experience situations outside the shelter 🐾 A chance for people with limited time & resources to be involved 🐾 The ability to have a committed workout partner 🐾 Therapy no money can buy 💗

4. TOBY Process People come in They sign a waiver
Staff makes a copy of their driver’s license
Obtain a contact number (preferably cell)
Ask questions to determine good match
Go over simple rules
Harness dog up and send them out

5. RIO Kati The Ripple Effects 💧Dogs naturally become more adoptable
💧 Increased familiarity with each dog
💧 Donations increase
