Most parents want to be involved in what’s going on at school Even the ones that don’t seem to still respond when you contact them proactively Parents want to know you care and communication is an easy way to do that You know they missed an assignment and care that they complete it; that’s powerful Some students need their parents to remind them of assignments Giving parents a rundown of what’s going on can help those students who need to be managed more

E-mail is not the only form of communication
is great! But sometimes you need to talk to a live person! Don’t be afraid to pick up the phone!
