2. End of Year Project 200 Point Test Score
Due on your “final exam day” (senior final day is different from underclassmen)
May be completed alone or in groups of up to three students WITHIN REASON.
If done in groups I need a breakdown of assignments/tasks within the group
Four options (if you want to do something else, just check it with me)

3. Project Option #1: Do something.
We spent all year talking about the depressing things humans are doing wrong. Change it and do something good
Fix one of these problems:
Find an area that needs environmental cleanup and get it done.
Find a way to support an international effort to make positive change.
Find an issue that needs your support.

4. Project Option #2: Educate someone
Find an environmental issue you think your peers or community members are ignorant about.
Create a way to educate them and implement that lesson.

5. Project Option #3: Educate yourself
Many interesting nonfiction books have been written by wonderful authors who bring the subject alive.
Read a book and report on it (you must get your book approved).

6. Project Option #4: Be Creative
Research upcycling
Design an upcycled art piece or functional object
Explain why you chose your medium and what positive impact your choice has.

7. All Projects: Must be presented to the class on Final Exam Day.
They must have some visual aid (Prezi, Powerpoint, video, etc.)
They must demonstrate great depth of research (with citations) and more than a few hours of effort.

8. Sample Projects from past students:
Video to show how many recyclable items are thrown away at lunch
Make soap and host a soap drive for Clean the World Foundation
Raise money to fund a Kiva microloan
Help with a project with a local organization
Trashion Show to educate the public about waste and fashion
Host a fun run to fund well building in developing countries with the Thirst Project
