2. FILE Form 470 NOW! Determine needs for FY 2018-2019
File Form 470 (include RFP)
A minimum of 28 days is required before opening and evaluating bids begins
Follow Fair and Competitive Bidding Rules

3. Updating Profiles!
Check to see if all entities are there [schools and NIFs], need to add or delete any? 
Check to see if school status has changed?  Now have PreK? Make any necessary changes.
Check/change all addresses and phone numbers, make sure latitude/longitude are included (helps with rural/urban status)
Check for name changes at sites.

4. Updating Profiles!
Don’t worry about student counts and FRL numbers yet, Jeannene will send her file in December as usual. 
It is important that you use the same numbers we send to USAC.  These are YOUR numbers that are reported by YOUR school to Raleigh for November counts.

5. Manage Connectivity Module
If any speeds, etc. have changed at any sites, go ahead and make those changes in the “Manage Connectivity Questions” module.
Also, if you have added any entities, you MUST answer Connectivity Questions for those entities BEFORE you start your 471.

6. Category 2 2018 Pricing/Contracts almost ready. Will send out link.
Use 2017 for preliminary planning and budgeting.
To determine site budgets:
ADM X $ – (C2 pre-discounts amts spent in , 2016, 2017)

7. 471 Window expected to open mid-January!
File 470 now so you are not filing 471 at last minute!
