2. Outline
LR-Watch: Allows images taken to automatically import into Lightroom
Presets: Images imported into Lightroom can have proper white balances

3. Camlift LR-Watch set up
Steps:
Settings
Save Pictures Folder…
Select LR-Watch
Select OK
Note: Once set up, does not need to be redone each time imaging

4. Lightroom: Auto Import Settings…
Steps:
File>Auto Import>Auto Import Settings
Watched Folder: C:\LR-Watch
Information: Develop Settings: Choose desired preset

5. Lightroom: Auto Import Settings…

6. Presets: Lighting Presets allow you to adjust lighting/backgrounds
Remember: For dry mounted specimens, backgrounds should be 18% grey

7. Adjusting …White Balance
If the background is not the 18% grey (i.e. the white balance is wrong), you need to adjust the white balance. Select “Custom” and the select the eyedropper

Using the eye dropper tool, left click on any part of the background.
This background is wrong color!!!

9. Adjusting…White Balance
The white balance has now been adjusted and the background is the correct color

10. Creating presets
To create a new preset, select Presets “+”

Once preset is created: Go to File>Auto Import>Auto Import Settings…
Select the newly created preset
