1 Screening of candidate transcription factors that are sensitive to ROS levels.
Screening of candidate transcription factors that are sensitive to ROS levels. (A) Real-time PCR analysis of transcription factors in GS cells 3 d after SB or XMD 8-92 supplementation (n = 3). For DPI, the cells were recovered on the next day (n = 3). Mean values for control experiment are indicated by horizontal line. *P < 0.05 (t test). (B) Real-time PCR analysis of Bcl6b and Sohlh1 in GS cells 5 d after BIRB796 and BIX02189 (n = 3). For apocynin, the cells were recovered 2 d after the treatment (n = 3). *P < 0.05 (t test). (C) Real-time PCR analysis of spermatogonial transcription factors in GS cells. Mapk14f/f and Mapk7f/f GS cells were recovered 7 and 10 d after AxCANCre treatment, respectively (n = 6). For Nox1 or Bcl6b KD, the cells were recovered 8 and 3 d after transfection, respectively (n = 3 for Nox1; n = 6 for Bcl6b). *P < 0.05 (t test). Data information: in (A–C), data are presented as mean ± SEM. Hiroko Morimoto et al. LSA 2019;2:e © 2019 Morimoto et al.
