This webinar will introduce grantees to the key requirements and recommendations for new grantees’ four month planning period.
This review will cover the first four steps of requirements; Conditions of Award; Staffing; One Stop Partnerships; Mental Toughness and Recruitment Considerations; and provide a Planning Phase checklist covering all four months of the Planning Period.
Grantees will learn how to maximize their four month planning period for successful programming through the following:
Addressing and resolving any outstanding conditions of award
Designing a staffing pattern that contains required staff and clear responsibilities
Putting together and using a Mental Toughness and Recruitment component with Year One and Year Two goals in mind
Using a Planning Phase Checklist that provides benchmarks for all four months of the Planning Period, including designing a strong, workable Pre-Apprenticeship pathway in a local high demand industry for immediate implementation with their grant.
