Lessons Learned God wanted a restored city, and restored citizens (Gal. 6:1-2) Confession of sin & separation from sin is necessary for spiritual reformation, restoration, and renewal (2 Cor. 6:14-7:1,9-11) Praising God for his goodness and greatness will move us to restoration

Lessons Learned Remembering what God has done for us will move us to restoration We must not forget where we came from and where we are going Becoming filled and fat will lead to failure (Rev. 3:17) Rest from trouble often leads to more trouble

Lessons Learned Serious thought (Neh. 9) precedes any serious change (Neh. 10) We must stop doing what is wrong, but we must also start doing what is right (Jas. 1:21-22) Beware of empty promises of change (Eccl. 5:1-5; Jas. 5:12)
