Good Dog Carl Goal: Use your descriptive language skills to write the words to go along with the pictures in Good Dog Carl. Role: Author Audience: Frankie Funk Situation: Frankie is coming to visit our classroom. He loves looking at books and having stories read aloud to him. One of his favorite books is Good Dog Carl, but there are no words throughout the book, only pictures! Your job is to work with a partner and use your knowledge of descriptive language to write the words that would go on each set of pages. Product: Good Dog Carl with descriptive language so that Frankie has words to go along with the pictures!
