Figure 1: A 34-year-old male with Von Hippel-Lindau disease presented with the right testicular tenderness and abnormality. Longitudinal gray-scale ultrasound of the right epididymis tail demonstrates a predominantly solid lesion (asterisk) with subtle peripheral cystic changes (curved arrow). In addition, a hypoechoic halo can be seen around the central solid lesion (straight arrow) confirmed to be papillary cystadenoma of the epididymis at surgery.
