6 The Breaking of Bread The Lord’s Supper, the eating of unleavened bread and the drinking of fruit of the vine at the Lord’s table, is to be shared on the Lord’s Day, the first day of the week, in an assembly of a local church, brothers and sisters in covenant relationship with God through Christ Jesus and The Holy Spirit, for the purpose of strengthening our relationship with God and with one another.
