A Note from the Teacher What’s Happening in... This week in reading, our focus skill is making inferences/asking questions about texts we read to help comprehension. In grammar, our skill for the week is prefixes. In writing, we will finish researching for our biography project. Test Dates: Grammar Quiz: 3/29 Reading Comprehension Quiz: 3/29 Week 1/2 Vocabulary Quiz: 3/29 Spelling List #13 Quiz: 3/29 The Wax Museum “Hall of Fame” biography presentation will be April 5th at 10 AM. You are invited to attend State Testing will begin on April 15th. C. Nichols’ homeroom will take the reading state test on 4/15. M. Grant’s homeroom will be tested 4/16. Students are required to pass this state test to be promoted to 4th grade. Yearbooks may be purchased until April 5th. They are $20. Field trip money ($28) and permission slip are due 3/29.
