It contains key skills employers and graduate schools are interested in.

3 The Bare Necessities General Student research Employment
Education should go on top Always include a cover letter that is specific to the position. Use a personal when you are applying for a position. Student research Use a separate section for your research experiences, label appropriately Headings are going to be based on paid vs. unpaid Include a brief explanation of the research project Include a presentations section Employment Always include your title, dates of employment (month/year), company/department name, university (if applicable) Important documents are only important if they say what you want to say, otherwise they are just noise.
