Sign into mproducer with your username and password and hit login If you do not use mproducer and just use OLS for dx look up you can click the link up and it will take you directly to our provider finder

2 Select links and useful tools on the bottom right hand side of the screen

3 The best way to start the provider search is to go head and select find your covered drugs because on the next screen it will populate all the tabs needed to look up doctors, hospitals, and rx Hoover your mouse over and click the section “Find your Covered Drugs”

4 Select the appropriate Brand
For this exercise we are going to select Anthem Make sure Anthem is all Blue States

5 For this exercise we are going to use 45030, which is Hamilton County
For this exercise we are going to use 45030, which is Hamilton County. It is very important to make sure the appropriate county where the beneficiary lives is selected because all plans are county based This is what the page will look like if you just use the link from the first page…

6 All Medicare Plans start on the first of the month so make sure the proper effective date is select also. Once all information is correct hit continue

7 I think the best practice is always to make sure you do a 50 mile radius search so it can capture a bigger search area. You can also search by specialty in the ‘provider specialty tab’ but for this practice we are only going to search for Family/general practice because that’s what is needed on the application. It is also a good idea to check mark the box “able to serve as a primary care physician” that way your search results will only display physicians that are contracted to be PCP. In this example I am going to search by a doctor by the last name of Niemeyer and hit search. One thing I wanted to mention before we move on was you can also access dental and vision providers in our provider lookup from the “provider type” dropdown box

8 Our dental and vison providers use a different websites for lookups
Our dental and vison providers use a different websites for lookups. All the agent will have to do is click the hyperlink, in this case it is Liberty Dental, and it will send the agent to the apporpiate website. Dental and vision providers will vary by state but most are Liberty Dental for dental and Blue View Vision for vision. I will also place an additional information page on the last page of this presentation for dental/vision. As always you can reach out to me with any additional questions.

9 On this screen you will be able to see what plans the Dr Niemeyer is in network with and if they are able to serve as a PCP. You can also see what address the dr is located at. Sometimes a provider will have multiple locations and you just want to confirm the address is correct or they still practice there You can click the details button by the name of the plan to get additional information

10 You will see on this page the PCP ID # for the physician
You will see on this page the PCP ID # for the physician. Keep in mind you only need the PCP # is the member is enrolling into an HMO, if enrolling into a PPO the PCP is not required to complete the application Sometimes not all you will be what hospitals the PCP is affiliated with, which can be very helpful At the bottom of this page you will an orange box that says “add doctor’, click that button to add the dr

11 You can see on this screen that this Dr has been added to your doctors list. You also have the ability to remove the doctor at the top of the screen. Once the doctor has been added proceed at the bottom of the page and click view all plans

12 Click view plan documents to display high level selling features of plan. If a customer has a one off question as always have the agents refer to the SOB or EOC. As an ex internal agent this is what I used 99% of the time when speaking with a potential client over the phone

13 Here you see most of the high level benefits (go over some benefits)
Here you see most of the high level benefits (go over some benefits). It will also have some high level supplemental features like dental, vision, and hearing .

14 Scroll back up until you see the section that says “Do you have any medications that you are taking” to lookup and add prescriptions

15 This is what your screen should look like
This is what your screen should look like. All you need to do is type in the first few letters of the prescription and a list will populate, just make sure you select the correct medication. Sometimes the member will only know the name of the brand name medication but most of the time a generic or generic equivalent is available. To view generic options click view generic options and separate list will display. Always confirm with the member if they are on the generic or brand name I also wanted to point out a very important topic when it comes to insulin and other prescriptions or any medication that comes in a package or box. You can see from the drop down box that you usually will have a couple of different options to select. You always want to make sure in the quantity section you put the EXACT amount of what they are taking. For example Humalog is common insulin medication people take for diabetes. If a member tells you they take 5 quickpens a month you need to put 5 in the quantity, not 1 package of 5. It is very important the agents to this correctly as it will give better estimates as to when the beneficiary will fall into the donut hole. Click add drug to add the medication to the rx list. Next slide

16 Once you have all name of rx’s enter click add drug, continue to do this until all of the medications are entered and once the list is complete you will see a box that says next, click next to go to the next page

17 The next page will display a list of any local pharmacy but it will always show our preferred pharmacies first. You always want try to have the beneficiary leverage preferred pharmacies as it gives them the cheapest cost for their medication. Select the appropriate pharmacy and you will see “view all plans” at the bottom, click view all plans to proceed

18 The next screen will bring you back to the landing page that shows all plans. We are now going to search for hospitals in the area. If you are looking for a particular hospital please feel free to put the name of the hospital in facility name and make sure the Facility Specialty is General/Acute care. Usually most people want access to more than one hospital. I think it works better if you just do a general search for hospitals in the area. In this case you would just not fill out the facility name section and hit search

19 You will see all of the hospitals that are in network with our plans, at the bottom of the screen you can click the page #’s and it will show other hospitals that are farther out from where they live Once you have found the correct hospitals click “add facility” you can add more than one. Once you have all the appropriate facilities click “next”

20 The next screen will just reiterate to the beneficiary that they are making the might choice. It will show if all of their needs are being met my the plan, it will show if all hosp, drs, and rx are covered. Once the member is ready to enroll click select plan and it will start the application process. If you are not using mProducer to do applications, please go back and access your internal tools
