4. The Holy Spirit lives in Christians
Old Testament:
the Holy Spirit was given to leaders for a specific mission (He did not live in every follower of God).

5. FELLOWSHIP of the Holy Spirit

6. Jesus – GRACE
For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people (Titus 2:11).
God – LOVE

comfort, encourage (John 14:26)
teach (John 14:26, 16:13)
help us in our weakness (Romans 8:26)
offer hope, joy (Romans 15:13; 1 Thess. 1:6)
give wisdom/strength (1 Cor. 2:10-16; Gal. 5:16-17)

7. Reality #1: It takes time and effort to gain (and maintain) meaningful and healthy “fellowship” with another person.
Reality #2: It takes (a lot) of time and effort to gain (and maintain) meaningful “fellowship” with the Holy Spirit.

8. To experience healthy fellowship with the Holy Spirit we need to give Him time.

9. Holy Spirit, I want to experience meaningful fellowship with You.
