Watergate Terms Watergate Hotel: A hotel and office building which included offices for the Democratic Party (where information on campaigns was stored) C.R.E.E.P. : The Committee to Re-Elect the President. The campaign that used the slush fund to pay the burglars for stealing information from the Democratic party offices. ‘Deep Throat’: Code name for the informant now identified as Mark Felt who told information to journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein
