Context: Revelation is a book of sign and symbol. You can't take it literally! i.e.
Rev. 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. [4] And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:…
What about the rest of Scripture, i.e. MAT 6:10? "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.“
No the Devil here is the Pagan Roman Empire personified as reigning in the Roman heaven..

Job1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God (men in Hos. 1:10) came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Here Satan has the definite article so it is thought Satan is an individual as compared to a personification of the assembly.
Satan’s power is God given as seen in Job 2:3.
Job2:3 And the LORD said unto Satan, … although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
Job 42:11; 19:21 God not Satan brought this evil upon Job.

As to whom this adversary was we are not told. He probably was a man who was envious of Job and God was working to change him.

The context of this “proverb” identifies Lucifer as the “king of Babylon”.

If Jesus was to kill the devil why did he take on a body of “flesh and blood”?
How would Jesus destroy a supernatural devil with his death?

If demons were real, why under the Law of Moses was there no legislation regarding them or any mention of exorcisms?
There is no demonical possession that hasn’t its parallel in present medical experience. The symptoms are precisely identical – tearing, foaming, abnormal strength, etc.
The question becomes, can pills cast out demons?
