If you get a taste for them, you will get drawn into a vicious cycle and need riches to keep it up Do not overwork to be rich v.4-5 riches are fleeting—character is eternal – Pr 22:1; the goal of riches is a trap 1 Tim 6:9-10; work & riches to glorify God Eph. 4:28; 1 Tim. 6:17-19 Do not eat the bread of a miser v.6-8 He counts every bite and its cost to him You undermine your own good will
