Met with IT Department about student wellness resources on Canvas

Timeline is looking like 1-2 months right now
Meeting with Expos pushed back to 1030 Monday
Hoping to talk about purchasing the rights to the book
Looking into data collection, to eventually publish report

5. Health & Wellness Committee - Hinita Patel
RU Lounge (Event that RUSA is Participating in)
Event promotes safe drinking habits, it is on Friday, Feb 15th in the CASC MPR from 9pm-12am
Sign up to volunteer to staff the photo booth!
The Bandana Project (Legislation)
Green bandanas distributed to students on campus tied to backpacks to show solidarity for those dealing with mental health problems and indicate that students with the bandana have resource cards directing students to mental health resources on campus

Talking about how RUSA members can get involved in Photovoice, which is a research project being conducted by the Student Affairs Health & Wellness Division to assess wellness

7. Legislative Affairs - Julien Rosenbloom
Awaiting confirmation of late February for a vote in the NJ Assembly re: open textbooks bill.
Working to develop PR to Pallone Town Hall, promoting at various student orgs next week (application closes Feb. 8)
Had meeting on 1/30 with Dave Weinstein and George LeBlanc re: State Advocacy Day
Possibly sending student delegation to Trenton during budget hearings
Joint SVE/LA initiative to engage students & legislators on the issue of sexual violence on campus
Committee meetings: 8pm in the SAC.
